You will support the delivery of functional software to Production through the software development lifecycle. Actively participate in the prioritization of solution improvements to meet the primary objective of 24x7 availability of applications. Embed site reliability engineering principles into the delivery lifecycle allowing the team to move to a “you build it you run it model”. Delivery execution of technology initiatives e.g. Cloud Migration / Agile Adoption, DevOps, Micro-services, APIs, Enhanced Resilience Technology resilience and Cyber What will you be doing? As part of the SRE Delivery team the candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of the end to end solution. Active participation in planning, quality and governance including benefits realizationResponsible for providing accurate, transparent and timely reporting to the CIO functionsAs a valued member of the SRE Delivery team, provide organization wide thought leadership through personal impact to create engaged colleagues and teamsBuild a culture of high trust, collaboration and engagement across the delivery team, embedding effective partnerships, and ensuring Operations and Technology realize opportunities and revenue through the SRE deliveriesEnsure that feedback and monitoring of the end to end solution are visible and action is taken proactively to prevent future failureProven analytical and problem solving skills, with broad knowledge of complex technology landscapeProvide leadership and direction to the colleagues in your virtual delivery team supporting problem resolution of any critical issuesReview Change Records, Technical Implementation Plans and Release Documentation, providing feedback on improvements to the approaches where applicable What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience 6 months to a year or more of experience using Java, Python, or C++ to build object-oriented solutionsAble to demonstrate previous evidence of drive, energy, commitment, and enthusiasmAbility to provide a world-class customer/client experience, underpinned by a lean cost base, strong controls and a culture of collaboration, innovation and high performance.Understanding of the application Software Development Lifecycle and DevOps paradigm Where will you be working?
