We operate a client centric model by providing clients with superior content, liquidity and products, including Asset Backed Securities; Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities; Residential Mortgage-Backed Security both agency and non-agency, Warehouse Lending, Bridge Financing; Securitizations; Commercial Mortgage Back Securities Index (CMBX) and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) amongst others.What will you be doing?Ensure proper review of month end close for the business, including balance sheet and revenue reconciliations, general ledger and sub ledger adjustments and reserve calculationsLiaise with the Front Office, Middle office, Accounting and Risk management teams to solve various issues in a timely mannerPerform/Present the weekly/monthly P&L commentary to director within teamPerform and review regulatory submissions [i.e. IFRS13, IFRS10, BASEL III, etc.]Represent product control in various regulatory, IT and business projectsProvide ongoing support with respect to BAU processesWhat we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration1 year of experience in two or more Structured Products and Hybrid products [Whole Loans, RMBS, Warehouses, Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, CDS, Financing and other products]Skills that will help you in the role: Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and finance conceptsPrior product control experience a plus especially in Securitized ProductsProficiency in MS Excel including macrosWhere will you be working?At Barclays, we are proud to be redefining the future of finance and here at Whippany we are defining the future of the workplace and the future of the way we work and live.
