About this position:
Monday - Thursday Noon to 10p.m.
Assist with admissions, rounding and discharges of inpatients; document medical history and progress notes, assess health status and diagnose any potential issues.
Monitors patient status and response to treatments, communicate with hospitalists, specialists and nursing staff.
No Procedures required
Will be required to respond to codes
Provides education and counseling for patients and families.
Assist in medication reconciliation.
Graduate from an accredited Advance Nurse Practitioner of Physician Assistant program
Critical care experience
A minimum of one year experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a hospital setting is preferred, but strong new grads or equivalent experience will be considered.
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Current NE State license
Eligible or current DEA license in NE
No procedures required
